  Used to be a beast... Strong and explosive... Played with intensity... A monster dunk waiting to happen... Very good running the floor... Very tough... Was one of the best defenders at the power forward spot... No decent jump shot... Low-post game needs refinement... Not the same after the knee injury.
Attended the Bryan Adams HS in Dallas, Texas.
Played college ball at Cincinnati until 2000.
Selected by the New Jersey Nets as 1st overall pick in the 2000 NBA Draft. Played there till 2003-04.
Traded to the Denver Nuggets in July 2004.
Won the gold medal at the World University Games with the US Team in 1999.
 
Voted Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year in 1998, 1999 and 2000.
Named Conference USA Player of the Year in 2000. Named to the All-Conference 1st Team.
Consensus National Player of the Year in 2000. Named 1st Team All-America.
Named Conference USA's men's basketball Player of the Decade in 2005.
Played in the NBA Rookie All-Star Game in 2001.
Selected in the NBA All-Rookie 1st Team in 2001.
Won the gold medal at the 2001 Goodwill Games with the US Team.
Won the Tournament of Americas with the US Team in 2003.
Selected to the NBA All-Star Game in 2004.
